Weekend Zoom recipe classes (not a shipped product)
Our Weekend Zoom recipe classes are delivered online via Zoom. They do not involve shipment of goods, UPS, or cash on delivery. Delivery timelines, carrier terms, and address rules in this policy apply only to our printed cookbook. For Zoom membership, billing, and cancellation, see our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
Where we ship
We currently ship to street addresses in the United States and Canada only. We do not ship to P.O. boxes unless UPS service to your location allows it and we confirm it at order review—if you are unsure, contact us before ordering.
Physical product
Our recipe book is a printed, physical book. It is packed and shipped to the delivery address you provide when you order. You receive a tangible copy you can use in your kitchen.
Carrier: UPS
Orders are sent via UPS (United Parcel Service) or UPS-affiliated services we select for your route. Tracking and delivery updates are provided through UPS where available. UPS’s terms of carriage, liability limits, and delivery practices may apply to your shipment in addition to this policy.
Cash on delivery
When you choose cash on delivery (COD), payment is collected when your package is delivered, according to UPS and local delivery procedures. You are responsible for having the correct payment available at delivery. If delivery cannot be completed (for example, nobody is available to pay and receive the package), the shipment may be returned and additional fees may apply; contact us for help rescheduling.
Shipping methods and timing
Delivery times vary based on your location (U.S. or Canada), address verification, UPS network capacity, and weather or operational delays. We will provide an estimated timeframe or UPS tracking information when your order ships, where available.
Shipping costs
Any shipping or handling charges are shown on your order before you confirm your purchase. Rates may differ between U.S. and Canadian destinations. If you have questions about fees for your area, contact us before ordering.
Address accuracy
You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate delivery address (including unit or apartment numbers, province or territory for Canada, and ZIP or postal code). We are not responsible for delays or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a package is returned due to an address error, we will contact you about reshipment; additional shipping costs may apply.
Canada: duties, taxes, and brokerage
Shipments to Canada may be subject to customs duties, taxes (such as GST, HST, or PST), import fees, or brokerage charges assessed by Canadian authorities or UPS. Those charges are your responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout. Delivery may take longer for cross-border shipments.
Lost or damaged shipments
If your package appears lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us promptly at (307) 289-2080 or info@bookandread.org with your order details and, for damage, photos of the packaging and book. We will work with you and UPS to resolve the issue in line with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
